About Olivia
With a foundation of trust and curiosity, therapy can become a space where you deepen your understanding of yourself, shift long-standing patterns, and begin to move toward a more meaningful and fulfilling way of living.
I believe the therapeutic relationship is the foundation of meaningful change. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe enough to be fully yourself without judgment, pressure, or the need to perform. From my perspective, meaningful change begins with a strong therapeutic foundation built on trust, authenticity, and collaboration. Just like any important relationship in one’s life, it grows through effort and openness, and I use our early sessions to begin building that connection.
Often, when we feel stuck, we find ourselves repeating the same patterns in relationships, behaviors, or ways of thinking without fully understanding why. In our work together, we’ll gently begin to explore these patterns with curiosity rather than criticism. I work from a psychodynamic lens, which means we’ll explore the deeper, often unconscious roots of these patterns. Many of the ways we relate to ourselves and others are shaped by earlier experiences. By bringing awareness to these dynamics, we can begin to understand not just what is happening, but why, which creates the opportunity for real and lasting change.
I integrate techniques from CBT, DBT, ACT, and family systems approaches when helpful, offering tools and coping strategies to support you in your daily life. I tend to be an active and engaged therapist, I will work alongside you to explore, reflect, and make sense of your experiences. Therapy is not one size fits all, we’ll collaborate to create goals that feel meaningful and relevant to you, taking into account your unique experiences, identity, and needs.
My clinical experience includes working with a wide range of concerns, and I have a particular focus on depression, anxiety, relationship and attachment issues, family of origin dynamics, trauma, and perinatal mood disorders. With a foundation of trust and curiosity, therapy can become a space where you deepen your understanding of yourself, shift long-standing patterns, and begin to move toward a more meaningful and fulfilling way of living.
